Berlin Clamping Down on Airbnb

Hi all

Can other Berlin hosts please tell me what you are doing about the fact that it is now illegal to be an Airbnb host and they are saying they want to fine people for using Airbnb?

I rent my apartment and only put it on Airbnb once a month at most when I go away for the weekend.

Does this mean that I am going to get into trouble?

Hi @Carly2 renting out a whole apartment short term (under 2 months) no matter how infrequent is now illegal and councils are already handing out fines.  You should seek legal advice on your specific situation if you decide to continue renting your place out.
