Changing a booking from one listed room to another

I have 3 rooms listed, but I cannot find out how to change a guests reservation from one room to another. Can anyone give me and answer?

Also how do you contact AirBnb customer service?

Jen

Also, regarding your question, I had the same issue and called them, and was advised to decline/cancell all reservations and straighten out my listing first.  I declined a few and forwarded them a message that I was new and just figuring this thing out.  However, I still had to ultimately come up with a workable remedy, as the site is not user friendly, and can be very confusing if you have multiple listings.  Did you classify each listing with a different name, so you an easily identify which room is reserved?  Also, there is a way to view multiple listing on your calendar - that also helps.  Lastly, each of my rooms had twin beds, so it didn't matter which room they had booked, I had to rotate based on my own knowledge of who was coming, and when they were leaving.  At the end of the day, the confusion is something you'll have to handle.......so use what works for you.

I hope this helps in some way, otherwise, call them....

Well Wishes,

ME

Jen,

I forgot to mention, I also called (or emailed) to ensure if I had changed they (booked individuals) would not mind.  Oh, and one last tip, if they felt it inconvenienced them, I'd offer a discount for the confusion.  I simply thought about what type of customer service I'd like if the shoe were on the other foot.  People usually are ok as long as they are well informed!

Well Wishes,

ME

I have a similar situation. My guest accepted to be moved to another identical listing, no problem there. But the calendar still shows the first dates booked as unavailable since I didn't want to put my guest through the bother of re-booking. Is there a way to release the dates without bothering my guest to cancel and re-apply? Thanks.

@Jennifer17

You go to "Your reservations" and use the change/cancel tool.

Thank you for that. I managed as you suggested, but there was a price change up by 30 euro which is not fair to my guest.
