Changing a booking with a voucher

Hi guys,

I'm new to hosting and have a guest confirmed for 3 nights. She has asked to change her reservation to 4 nights. I sent the change request and wanted for her to confirm however she said she used a voucher or discount to make the book and if she cancels and rebooks she will lose the discount. Does anyone know how I can change or add 1 day without her losing her discount?

@Tina558 You or she can modify the reservation to add a day without cancelling anything. When you click on the reservation, there is an option to Change reservation. Click on that and modify the dates to add the extra day. Your guest will need to accept the change. This should not affect the voucher, but if she has any billing inquiries, I would direct her to contact Airbnb.

@Tina558, I agree with @Alexandra316. Unless she's somehow trying to pull a quick one, it should be fine. She doesn't have to cancel her booking, she just has to accept the change request you sent. Presumably her voucher doesn't cover the cost of the additional night, so she will just be billed for it. As Alexandra said, this isn't really your problem and she should contact Airbnb if she has any issues with payment.
