Cooperative Cleaning

I received a few emails from Air BnB about a new cleaning company they are partnering with called Cooperative Cleaning. I can't seem to find any reviews anywhere other than their site. Has anyone used them and if so, would you recommend? Thanks!

I have the same question.  I can't find anything, not even on Yelp, nowhere. Their website indicates that they exist solely to service Airbnb members -- Yet, try finding a link on Airbnb? There's an Airbnb menu item now called Host Assist, but they are not listed there either. Why all the mystery? And the prices are so high.... Seems like a good idea and I like their stated policies about how they handle workers, but I'm looking for comfort here. Handy was horrible. Why is there no feedback, at least here on Airbnb forums?

I just found Cooperative Cleaning Yelp Review Page. I was looking to see if any Hosts on here had any experiences working with them while away. I will be needed laundry done (don't have any machines on-site), plants watered, and toilet paper/toiletries replenished, in addition to the regular cleaning and linen placement. 

 

Has anyone used them as a Host?

I wanted to use them. But there is an insurmountable problem. In order to get continuity, the same workers every time, you have to book well in advance. I would be happy to do that. But the problem is that while Airbnb pays the Host only after Check-in, Cooperative Cleaning takes the payment from your credit card on the day you book the service rather than taking payment on the day of service (as other businesses do for just about anything). This is very frustrating and obviously does not work. We often get bookings really far in advance, even a year in advance --- I cannot afford to pay for all my cleanings for the whole year in advance of getting paid by AIrbnb. And if I book last minute, I will get a different worker every time -- and I certainly don't have time to train each one in what to do.

 

I hope they correct this billing anomoly so that they will give with Airbnb. I don't understand why Airbnb has recommended them without their fixing this problem.
