Do you know what's your best listing photo?

Hi,

I am trying to discover what would be the best photo for the listing profile. This photo comes on the search and I have been changing some times and can't decide for one in specific that could get better results.

Can a photo get more views then other? If so, what one would it be?

Let me know your option for what's the best photo for you at my ID listing 5836251 and I if you wish so, can do the same at your listing.

Sincerely,

Daniel

I guess photo number 2 is the best, the one with the kitchen.

Good luck mate!

Agree, #2. Unless there's an exterior photo that might tell the story a little better?

They're all pretty decent photos. But I don't like the 'Car park. Loft' thing. Looks too much like a business IMO.

In fact photo #2 was the main photo for awhile...just testing some changes for now!

Like your #1 and #5 if the car happens to be included 😄

Thanks a lot for the feedback!

I like #1 the best followed by #2.

I like number #1 as well and If you are testing a new approach how to attract the eye of  an enquirer and If it were me I like the bed to be

the center of their attention and also if possible that you can add a little bit of color in the rooms where the bed's are.

Nic and Rach, Really like your suggestion about geting some more colorfull pictures. Didn't got to think about that to this apartment but you are completely right!

Here it goes the photos that liked more about your listings:

Airbnb as a professional photography service for free in some areas, just google it for "airbnb photography service" they normally get some pretty good photos!

It would be so cool to get some really deep analytics.  Imagine if we could get data on how many (or at what image) people back out of your listings.  Is the picture of a wrinkly bed such a turn off that people move on to the next listing?   Do people read the first two lines of text and go straight to pictures?  Do they get to the inquiry page and then back out?  I'd love to know all of this info.  FOr me, I'll take every single piece of data that I can get, and then ignore what's not relevant to me....

In return o like photo 2,5, 17 from your listing.

Thank you for the reply!

Hi, Thanls for the reply! Sorry for the late response but this doesn't send a notification....Here it goes my favorites:

Airbnb does a lot of data mining. One thing they uncovered is that people tend to be attracted to listings with warm colors in their photos. You might consider this when selecting an initial photo for your listing. See http://nerds.airbnb.com/airbnb-machine-learning/

Hi Ed & Hugh, You are the 2nd to suggest to take colors in consideration. I will sure try to make something about this! Thanks as well for the post on airbnb nerds!

It definitely makes a difference as to the FIRST IMPRESSION one gets.  That is what makes a person look further into your listing.

I am new to this and need your help.  How do you change the listing photo that is being used.  I looked at my site and went, thhat sucks, I need to change it.  Please send me a response as you said you have been changing yours.

As my main photo is of the outside of our home, I tend to change it with the seasons. It is so mild at the moment though that I haven't yet put the winter photo on page one yet.
