First time host, but was expecting notification of payment by now (checked in ystd)

Hi Should I be concerned that I haven't had my payment through from AirBnB 24 hours after the check-in?

The folks staying are the in-laws of a local whose house is a disaster zone at the minute and everything seems to be going tickety boo - except for the lack of notification that PayPal has received a deposit? I guess I am just being a bit impatient? Just don't want to be left penniless at the end of the visit in a couple of days

@Ros0 the payout message from Airbnb happens approximately 24 hours after the check in time in your listing.  Airbnb just says the payout has been sent, but doesn't notify you of when it actually is deposited to your PayPal account as they have no control over that.  If it's been well beyond the 24 hour window, you should contact Airbnb.

That was my concern - they checked in yesterday morning at 10am - but when I finally got a contact in AirBnB they seemed to indicate it could be anywhere in that whole day after... not after check-in! If I haven't heard anything by tomorrow I will get back in touch although it does seem to be quite arduous for them to respond!

When you have flexible check-in, airbnb assumes a rather late one.  3pm or 5pm I think.  My payout notice for those who checked-in yesterday arrived a few minutes ago.

Well @Clare0 & @Marit-Anne0 - your have been very helpful indeed and I am sure it will all go swimmingly. My next guest is a host himself and he'll be arriving just for one night while I am away so fingers crossed this is the start with the help of a couple of good reviews of more regular hosting.

Thanks to my fellow hosts for their responses. My first experience was lovely - a great retired couple who were down to help their son and daughter in law and stayed with me while the house was being renovated. I got a lovely bottle of wine - I know this is unlikely to always be the case, but feel quite happy I have got started!!

Oh yeah, and I got paid!
