Frontline & Superhost Status - Payments for Covid-19 Cancelled Guest from $250M Airbnb Fund

Has anyone received any compensation from Airbnb per Brian Chesky and Airbnb to reimburse Hosts for covid-19 cancellations?

Nor I have received anything so far - and I am sorry to say but indeed it looks like Airbnb has moved the goalposts...Also, I fail to see why having more than two Airbnb listings should make any difference - - actually folks with several listings are more likely to be full-time hosts with Airbnb as their main or even sole source of income (and less opporunity or ability to have another job) so I would think that they should definitely worthy of help - - but apparently not so!

@Lee198  The 2 listings criteria is for the Superhost grant, not the 25% refund program for cancelled reservations. 

As to the "levels" here- they don't mean anything, really. It's a social media thing, such as "likes". Those who post a lot move up the levels. They aren't a reflection of expertise, and don't carry over in any way to your actual hosting account, nor are there any perks involved.

Update! Moments later, after posting Airbnb sent my first cancellation reimbursement of 25% of the booking. Coincidence?? Squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Thanks for your questions regarding the Superhost relief. I've got a bit of information here that I think will help with your questions:

 

I am not clear whether I'm eligible. How do I find out whether I am?

You can find the eligibility criteria here, however, we're prioritizing invitations by inviting tenured Superhosts who are most in financial need first. This means not all eligible hosts may necessarily be invited. However, you will know by May 15th whether you've received an invitation or not.

 

I am eligible, but did not get an invite. Why is that?

The invitation process works by inviting our most long-standing Superhosts in financial need (looking at their earnings decline from this year to last) first. Invited hosts will have a 7 day window to apply. We are sending invites each week from now until May 15th.

 

I appreciate the timing is more staggered than we had initially envisioned but we have already began delivering these payments and will continue to do so.
