Hi , after having best ever February, March looks to be really slow? Is it just my area.? The new Airbnb roll out? Time yet as I often get bookings just a week or 2 in advance, just wondering really?

@Susan869Hi. Sort of thinking the same, though we only started last April so don't have anything to compare.

We're not in a tourist area, but managed to do 10-13 days each in Jan and Feb. Our first March booking just cancelled because of the weather, but including that we've got 9 nights in March. Interestingly, all Jan and Feb were ABB, but 6 nights in March are from other platforms.

I really thought we'd be full for Easter but we're not.

One thing you might be interested in is the data you get on Owners Direct. They give you a comparison with 20 local holiday lets, showing which days are popular, the average rental price per night, occupancy rate, etc. Not sure it will help get lettings, but it's interesting reading!
