@Letti0, you have no idea how apropos this is.
Tonight is my last night to review the worst guest in my hosting experiences.
His review will be “Guest is best suited for a highway motel or a barn.”
I called Airbnb ten minutes after they arrived at my house drunk. She was quite helpful and supportive. They left my home in a car and I called the police on them, too, for DUI.
I read that we don’t have the chance to explain to Airbnb what happened after we review them. Is that true?
If we can, this is what I am sending Airbnb.
*XXXX and his brother came home around 10:40 pm after quiet hours. They were drunk and screaming outside. My house rules state that quiet hours inside and outside are 10pm -7am since I live in a historic district. For me to hear them from the back of the house with the AC unit outside my window says EVERYTHING. They proceeded to scream inside the house and kept falling down drunk.
It was repulsive. To be 60-65 years old and have functioned this long is scary. They had gone to
dinner at 7 and actually stole a beer serving container from the restaurant and brought it back to my home. Thankfully, they took that with him. Though. they stole my nice bath towels, washcloths and bath products.
This was by far the worst hosting experience ever. They made me want to delete my listing because I felt that I was not safe nor was my home. *
After every storm, there is a cloudless sky and my existing guests on my calendar have been lovely.
I would have deleted my account if I had not had bookings already so I am grateful that I had future bookings.
