I just received an instant book reservation for a date that we had previously blocked. Now I am am put in the spot of cancelling and receiving punishments from ABNB for doing so.
Have others experienced this? How do I contact ABNB? Is this a known glitch?

Yes, I have experienced this with manually blocked dates sometime in the past. I suppose this is one of the recurring software bugs. Sadly I had to cancel the one booking for a honeymoon couple. and as you can imagine they were not best pleased. Contact airbnb with the issue and have them cancel the booking for you to avoid any of the punisments for host cancellations. I would inform the guests asap though - maybe they are willing to cancel from their end.
Yes I have also had this happen today! Someone has been able to make a booking request (thankfully not an Instant Booking!) for a property which was blocked off by me, about 3-4 weeks ago, for 7 - 14 March 2020! I have contacted CS and have got a lame rep telling me twice just to "decline the booking"...but that's not good enough! I want to know why this is even happening in the first place! Did you get any resolution to your issue?
Yes I have just had this for the second time. I have had my super host taken away and now am told I will receive a fine.

I just a booking done in a blocked time also. I have taken away instant booking to avoid this happening again.
