@Nirelle0 The information on your listing page at the time the bookings were accepted is what will regulate the conditions of those two hostings. You are at liberty to change any parts of your listing description at any time but, the changes will only affect bookings that are accepted after the changes were made.
I am sorry Nirelle but you will have to honour those two bookings without a security deposit or a cleaning fee.
If I was in your situation I would just carry the loss of the cleaning fee for those two bookings. The security deposit in all probability would not be required anyway. In 140 hostings I have never set a security deposit and I have never had to ask Airbnb for help where compensation money is concerned. I also do not set a cleaning fee, I believe my hosting amount covers the cost of preparing for the next guest.
If you did not set a specific cancellation policy your listing would have shown your cancellation policy as 'Flexible' and, unless you are in a high risk area, or time of year, this is probably what you would set anyway.
The secret of good hosting Nirelle is not to upset the guest. Happy guests give good reviews and good reviews bring you lots of bookings. Better to take a minor 'hit' here, you will gain much more in the future.
Cheers......Rob
