Persons new to Airbnb w/o reviews

I have had two requests today both by people new to Airbnb.  It is a holiday weekend and it seems there are unscrupulous folks who use stolen credit cards, rent last minute and ask to check in late.  I realize there will be some that are new and I try to work with people when I can but my advice is be very careful.  I was robbed a couple of weeks ago for being too trusting.

My advice is, it is your home, accept anyone who make you comfortable. If you not comfortable with guests with no review you can change the booking setting to accept the guests that have only 5 stars review from other hosts. Hope it helps 😃

I don't understand how you can be rob when Airbnb is taking care of the payments. I have had unscrupulous guesses that they want to book my room directly with me to avoid paying the very low fee that Airbnb charges, so I never accept it because that's robbing Airbnb and being dishonest.
