Refund

I guest Instant booked. I changed another guest accommedations and i made accommaditions for myself to be out of the apartment

for two weeks to allow the guest the confort of having only one other person in the house. The guest canceled the next day saying

he booked by accident now he wants a refund. It was a 31 day stay 2 weeks from reservation should I refund guest, I payed $300.00 for my Reservation, and it cost me $150 to change my other Guest accommidations. His Reservation was for $640 what should I do.

Tell him you are not able to cancel at your end and if he wants to discuss the situation with Airbnb he can call the number listed on his itinerary. Do not cancel for him since your calendar will remain blocked for all the days the guest reserved.

Hi Diane & Clarence, 

Always honor the cancellation policy that both parties agreed to. If a guest invites you to waive the policy, decline this invitation. The guests have notice of the policy prior to committing to the booking and must adhere to the terms and conditions that were agreed to by all.

Airbnb will honor the agreement.
