The Hague (Netherlands) Tourist tax and VAT

Greetings Airbnb community,

Quick question about taxing, as I don't want to get in trouble with the authorities.

Does Airbnb auto-deduct the tourist tax and VAT from the fees, or do I have to manually submit it.

If the latter, how would that be done?

Hello Kristian,

As far as I know airbnb directly pays the tourist tax in Amsterdam.

However I just received a form from the city asking me to report the tourist tax I paid and the earnings as well. Not sure which file I have to download from Airbnb to submit to the gemeente.

Please share with me if you know what must be done.

Any update on the tax question?

some more questions: Is there a maximum amount of days one can host a full house in the Hague?

                                               Does a new host need to register with the gemeente/municipality?

                                               What is the maximum number of guests in the Hague? I believe its 4 in Amsterdam.
