Where is my listing?

I researched my listing on https://www.airbnb.com/s/Newport-Beach--CA--United-States?checkin=06%2F01%2F2016&checkout=06%2F04%2F... and I am not seeing it? Why is it not showing? How am I supposed to find guest, if my listing is not even showing?

oh this happens a lot.

You should call Airbnb, first please look at your listing location info.  Does it truely show your addrress correctly? Since Airbnb doesn't allow you to edit your address (other than adding a unit number), if they are unable to resolve the issue, you will need to ceate a new listing, copy/paste your info to the new listing, then inactivate your original listing.

There shouldn't be a reason your listing doesn't show. I used your profile to see your listing and you don't appear to have anything like a 5 night min stay (your link was for 4 nights), or price higher than your search parameters, or any unit type filter preventing your listing from appearing.

Also when in your Location settings, move the Map/Pin to a new location, even if it's a half block.  Perhaps that will re-set your listing's appearance on the map?  If not, your only solution is Airbnb or a new listing.

@Loulou2 You listing is there and to prove it here's a picture:

I had to search for a Bed and Breakfast to find it.  There are many, many listings in Newport Beach and you have to use filters like price, property type, amenities, dates your listing is available, number of guests, etc. to weed out the irrelevant listings.

@Patty-And-Beckett0 @GoldenandMavy0,  Many hosts just do general searches without using any filters and in areas with 1,000's of listings, like London which has 30,000, the odds of finding your listing are quite slim.  When you search, search as if you are a guest looking for just the right price, accommodations, etc.  I have yet to not find their listing when hosts say they can't find it!

@Clare I applaud your ingenuity for searching using a filter. However there is still an Airbnb deficiency when a guest searches using no filters and only the map, and sees 12 available listings, and none of them include Stephanie's listing. You are absolutely correct that filters can make a difference when there are too many listings. I use the map to focus on smaller locations rather than an entire city, and I'm concerned that if Stephanie's listing isn't shown to me, what other listings do I miss out on?  As a host I would be very unhappy to learn my listings weren't being shown ... and there is a huge difference between having a listing which is displayed near the end of all the results vs Not Being Shown At All, as is the case for Stephanie when using a normal search
