book in advance discounts

Hi everyone.  Can anybody tell me if there is a discount available if guests book more than 4 months in advance.  Our property is booked out solid at Christmas January summer  holiday time.  I had an enquiry about a booking at a much cheaper price because they booked outside the four month window.  Can anybody please tell me how to change that in my settings if that is the case?  Thanking you all.  Sue

Hi, there is no four month window and no discounts, prices are set by you. However you may wish to offer a discount but it is entirely your choice. You might want to consider if it is a high/ low season especially as you mentioned you are normally fully booked. If it is high season then what is the benefit of offering a lower price when the property will get booked at your current price anyway. That said, although you are  normally fully booked, there is no guarantee that you will be booked so you need to decide of you take the risk and wait until then, offer a discount in the hope that this guest will actually book or inform them the price is set to stay.

You can amend you booking availability if you wish, follow this path

• MANAGE LISTING (click on listing which will open default calendar page)
• AVAILABILITY SETTING
• RESERVATION PREFERENCE
• HOW FAR AHEAD CAN A GUEST BOOK, choose your preferred setting here
