canceled reservation is blocked now on my calendar?

someone canceled a reservation but now we can't open it up on our calendar. how do we re-open this?

@Hillary0  How long ago was the cancellation?  Did the guest cancel the reservation?  Air BNB will process the cancellation according to the policy you selected, ie, whether you are due any money.  Your calendar should open within a day so if the cancellation happened a few days ago, you should contact Air BNB.  Send a message through the Air BNB Twitter for the quickest response.  If you want a phone number, google contact Air BNB.

You're talking about Kaylans reservation that you cancelled? That's why the dates are blocked.

I'm kinda suprised I have to say this as you're clearly an experienced host but that cancellation is also going to cost you your superhost status.

If you didn't mean to cancel you're going to need to contact Airbnb as they're now the only ones that can do anything ...

@Hillary1 Hi Hillary, Although you are an experienced host Airbnb have recently changed the format of their cancellation options and although you may have felt that the cancellation was the guests action, through contact with Airbnb you probably cancelled on behalf of the guest and that now renders you responsible, and it now shows as a host cancellation.

This question has been raised a number of times over the past couple of months and I am sure the rest of us would appreciate a bit of follow-up on this. Plead your case to Airbnb and see if this notice can be overturned and I would ask that you keep the community informed as to the outcome.
