@Kelley26 Here's how it works:
If you write a review for a guest it will be published at the same time they write one. Same moment.
If the guests does not write a review then 14 days must pass and your review will post on their profile and alert other hosts.
If the guest writes something false, or untrue and YOU have also written a review on them you will be able to write a response to their false or unfair review.
If you DO NOT write a review for them and they write a bad review on your place you will NOT be allowed to respond.
So it is critically important to write a review on each and every guest you have..
All this fear of the guests reviews and hosts not telling the truth just makes it very difficult for hosts AND it lets the guests know they are more in charge than they should be. So please keep it honest hosts and don't worry about bad reviews - we can't please people all the time. Unfortunately there are guests that have learned how to milk the system and do shameful things for refunds and we truly need to NOT encourage and give them power.
That's what I think about the reviews and fearful hosting.
make it fun, happy hosting, Clara
