modify the number of guests after reservation begins

Help. Website says I can't modify number of guests (from 4 to 6) after the reservation begins. We charge $15/night/person so we need to be able to do this to charge extra money.

One way: Open Calendar > click on particular guest > panel opens on right and hit 'Alter' (last line at bottom).

Thanks. I'm on the app and in Canada if that matters. If I open calendar as you say, I only have a link to "change reservation" (there is no Alter link) and it won't let me. I will reach out to customer service, thx for your reply!

I have always been able to modify current (or future) reservations. Did one just a few days ago. 

If the change/cancel button doesn’t get you there I’d reach out to CS
