What would be a proper security amount for a 200. per night rental?
Mainly physcological and directed at Guests who do not know it is very diffilct to claim against, 3 or 4 days rental?
@Dan-And-Laura0 I suspect it would be easier to take something out of the vaults of Fort Knox than to collect a security deposit from an Airbnb guest.
Make it 1 million dollars, it’s just for visual effect anyway, you have to get the media involved to collect a security deposit.

I do not count on the Airbnb security desposit. I take 1% of the booking, and put aside, for property upkeep (new towels, anything that needs fixing / replacing, cleaning products).
