photo attachements on computer too , not just mobile for people

it would be enormously helpful if we could send pictures from a computer too , not just from a mobile, sometimes guest arrive at night and they need to find the key-lock-box, it is a hassle to back and forth between my mobile and pc , I have big fingers so I prefer to use a computer for typing

Yes, it would be very helpful if we could add attachments to Airbnb messages.

But what you can do, in lieu of that, is send an email to the guest using the coded email address that appears under their profile photo to the left of your message thread with them and attach the photo to the email. I send my guests a map to my place, which is tricky to find, that way.

that Sarah game me an idea, i get email notifications of airbnb messages, i have not tried to attach pictures to that yet, i can reply to those notifications and it will still go to airbnb messanger, maybe the images will stay attached, i have to test that 🙂 i prefer to comunicate with airbnb messanger so i can remember what we where talking about , this way the record will be still in the inbox

@Andras7  What I'm talking about is that once a guest has a confirmed reservation with you, you will see a coded airbnb email address for them UNDER their profile photo (you may have to scroll down a little) along with their phone number. You can send an email to them using that address and it will go directly to their email inbox. The guest sees a coded email address for you as well, and if they use that, it will appear in your email inbox just like a regular email. 

So those emails are easily referred to if I need to check back on something, I created an airbnb folder in my email inbox and just right away move them over to that so they don't get lost in all the other emails. You could even create a separate folder for each guest, and just delete them when no longer needed.

But I also communicate mainly thru airbnb messaging, it's just if I need to send a map or photo that I use the email option.

I'd be interested to know if you find you can attach a photo to a reply to an email notification- I kind of doubt it, as the message system doesn't support attachments.

yes i did understand ,but if you just reply to the official email, that will also work (probally), BUT also show up in your airbnb inbox, the coded email will probally will not, there for i do not need to set up a folder what would confuse the hell out of me 🙂 but thank you for the insperation
