requests from people using another account

Our last two requests came from people using their friend's airbnb account.  We declined them giving this as the reason.

But if this is an increasing trend there is nothing to stop people pretending to be their friend until they arrive - and maybe even then, if their profile has no picture.

Are other hosts experiencing the same trend?  And how can we best prevent people actually booking under a false ID?

I have seen this discussed before, but unless it is obvious ultimately I do not see how you can.

The last person who stayed with me I thought did not look much like the photo, but looking again it was just an older photo, different hair style etc etc.
