reusing same information for listings at the same address

Is there any way of data/information being automatically synced across other listings at the same address? This would save a lot of time!

Hey @Marion67,

Nothing automated that i know of.

You can always have two open tabs (or two browser windows) and alt-tab through them by using copy & paste.

Or you could use a third party form filling application (like Lastpass), but i think its not worth the pain for just one or two listings.

Thanks for this but I am still confused.

I also have two rooms (a double and a single room) and now two listings but the only way I could do a combination of these (a third listing) would be to list as Entire House with two rooms available.  The thing is, we live in the house and only wish to make available these two rooms so we can't really list the entire house can we?

I have added additional beds on my main room listing but gives the impression that the other bed is spare in the same room and thereforewill not appear/appeal to people looking to occupy more than one room.

The separate rooms also pose a occupancy charge issue as the single occupancy in the single room is recommended to be half the price of a single occupancy of the double room. - even though I charge an additional fee for more than one guest in the double.

Keep it simple, list the two rooms individually.

Now that they've rolled out the activities list thing, which is nice, most main things are available for me to simply choose and up pops a google map, and you can print the list...

They are soliciting feedback right now so I did the survey (usually don't bother, too busy) and mentioned this issue. I'm going email now and see if anyone replies.

Having to do that activities thing in each of my 3 listings would give me carpal tunnel.

HI @Judy36,  you can create a third listing with the two rooms together plus whatever other spaces are included.  Make sure to label the rooms to keep them straight, e.g. Blue Room, Red Room, and Two Lovely Rooms for example. Then you can sync your calendar so that you don't double book, i.e. if one of the two rooms is booked, the combined listing will be blocked on your calendar => theoretically!  I'd want to really keep on top of this and definitely not use instant book, since you'd want to make sure you weren't double booking before replying in the affirmative. 

But I think it is possible and probably worthwhile - as there are many fewer listings for say 3 or 4 than for 2, so when someone searches for a place for 3, your listing has a better chance of popping to the top than it would with a listing for 1 or 2 (at least this was the case in my area when I contemplated adding a 2-bed room to my studio listing - I now have two listings, one for the studio and another for the 1-bed which includes the studio for a total of 4 people). Thanks, Susie, your idea of additional listing combinining (in my case) my various casitas/main house, etc., is a great one. I will try it and even the syncing. 

I WOULD love to have an automatic way to populate my shared info...not cut and paste!
