Hi everyone,
Exotic, tropical, distant, cold... each is unique, and there are tons of them to discover worldwide. I thought this would be a wonderful theme for our next game, so this week I’d like to take you on a tour of some islands! 🏝
There are 35 islands from all over the globe in the crossword grid below, can you identify them all?
To ensure everyone has a chance to participate, try to post only one answer or word at a time; I will update the updated game grid regularly.
I would love to know as well if you’ve had the opportunity to visit any of these islands -let us know below! 🛳 🛩
Have fun,
Quincy

13 is Cuba. Unfortunately, I haven't been yet...
Know a few more but will wait for others to jump in!
31 down is Java. I haven't been there but my grandparents lived there for a long while with my mother growing up there. And my home is decorated with many Javanese treasures that were passed down to me.
That's correct! Aw, that's lovely to hear @JJ48! I have friends who are from the Maluku province 🙂. Also, I'm very curious to see the decoration 👀
I'm going with number 9 down: ARAN - the only one I've been to on this list (had another booked but the the pandemic happened and my trip didn't)... I visited Innis Mor, one of the 3 Aran islands. The highlight of my visit to Ireland.
Correct @Deirdre122! Oh no, at least you were able to visit one of the islands! Will you be planning a visit to see the other islands?
@Quincy Sorry I realise I didn't elaborate... I was booked to go to Seychelles before lockdown hit (not the other Aran islands) so those are the islands I meant. Hopefully I'll still get to go sometime, I have family living there.
