A few weeks ago, my normal Host Dashboard layout completely disappeared from my opening page- to be replaced with a drawing showing an open page in a book, together with a message stating:"you have no bookings". Panicking, I quickly ascertained that this statement was for that particular day only.
Such a page is of absolutely no use to me- but my dashboard, which I used every day, has disappeared-which means I cannot track my number of viewings, or my current achievement on Superhost status.
I am also no longer receiving on the Airbnb app on my IPhone any notification of new messages, which was by far the most immediate means of seeing them, without having to enter email, text messaging etc.
These changes have been made, as far as I am concerned, with no prior consultation or notification & when I have tried to locate my dashboard under 'Host Resources', I get a blank screen!
Have other Hosts experienced this issue & have they managed to retrieve the layout they want & need?
Hi @Carol7249
I had the same issue last night, but I was able to fix it by switching to a different browser on my desktop and it worked right away. Try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache. Also, the Airbnb mobile app seems to be working fine, so you might want to try using that in the meantime.
Hope this helps!
Hi @Carol7249
If it was temporary as @Patricia2526 indicated, it should hopefully be resolved now (except for "you have no bookings", which - as you've mentioned - is a new landing page that can be quite scary until you get used to what it means).
If you still have issues tracking views, Superhost, etc. in the new update., let us know whether you have the issue in the app or desktop and which functions you need. Some have moved.
This apparently is the page you see when you have no active reservations. The only way around this that I have found is to click on the "Upcoming" button and then select one of the listings. This should bring up a page of your future reservations in date order on the left.
I don't know about anyone else, but really, REALLY do not like the new dashboard. I hate the large displays and having to scroll to see one reservation at time. I end up going to a page that will show multiple reservations in date order and bookmarked that as my landing page.
The old dashboard allowed me to see multiple upcoming reservations and dates which gave me the ability to easily plan. Now it is a pain in the butt and I am seriously considering making my own.
Hi @Carol7249 , are you still getting a blank screen when trying to access dashboard?
As Patricia and Shelley mentioned, in case it was momentary or browser issue , it would be worth trying to log out and login from different browser.
If you've already tried that with no success, please feel free to keep us posted!
