Alarming occurrence at my Airbnb stay

I just left my Airbnb after 2 weeks. On day 11 I had two people enter my room with the door code. I was so scared and frazzled. They said they booked on booking.com. I showed them out and that there were two other units. They tried the one next door and the code also worked there. They went in and stayed the night. I was scared and went to go message the host. Who said “booking sent them the wrong information your door code has been changed” 

 

no I’m sorry. Nothing. 

the next day I wake up to hearing people pounding on the front door. I stumble out of bed and carefully open the door and there are three NEW people. Who also insist they are staying there in my unit and have YESTERDAYS code. That’s why they couldn’t get in. I look at their phone and see yes it says my address. My unit. 

I am fully scared and irate now. Twice? Both through booking.com but that doesn’t change the fact I booked from

airbnb. The host was messaged and she said 

 

“sorry for the disturbance”

 

that’s it. That’s all. My daughter now is freaked out anytime she hears anyone near the door. 

what should I do?

@Allison730 Leave a suitable review for the host who has clearly lost control of their booking process. You could try to claim some compensation but this is harder if you complete your stay. If this ever happened to me I would ask Airbnb to relocate me elsewhere!
