Is there an auto calculator that allows hosts to put in their expected nightly rate and have the asking rate calculated?
Hi @Eileen563
You can select the dates on the host calendar. Then click the price that pops up. In the next screen you'll see "guest total" at the top. When you click that, it details what the guest pays and what the host gets out.
For some reason the function hasn't been programmed to work when you have custom promotions running - it just tells you that there's a custom promotion. The easiest way to see what's going on there, is to go to the Listings tab, click the listing and then click the "View" button that pops up. Put the dates in the calendar to see what the price looks like in guest view.
Thank you @Shelley159 ,
I wish I could find a calculator that would let me put potential nightly rates in and then see what payout would be. That would help me adjust my rates if necessary
@Eileen563 if you're just talking about setting straightforward nightly rates, and you've already switched to the single fee structure, your payout is simply what's on your calendar for that night less 15.5% (plus sales tax, if applicable).
It gets more complicated when you have other elements set up, like a cleaning fee, custom promotions, trip length discounts, etc.
