Bizarre and gross behavior
We've been hosting for just over a year. There is a Ring camera at the front door (fully disclosed in the listing). If there are motion alerts at weird times I often check. Well, apparently people think the rocks on either side of the front door is a great place to vomit. Now, we've had two groups in a row that have stood in the doorway (not even stepping outside) and urinated directly in front of the door. Of course, they then walk through it all weekend. Oh, and the group prior to those two thought that urinating on either side of the doorway - in full on daylight - was appropriate. Please understand I have two bathrooms and they walk by one, if not both, on their way out. I've actually had to put this in my listing: "Due to recent events, there is now an OUTDOOR cleaning fee added for inappropriate behavior. Basically don't do anything you wouldn't do in front of your grandmother. It's a family neighborhood and there are things they don't wish to see..."
Any other suggestions? Clearly, guests don't care or read. Utilities were over the top this past winter from people leaving the door wide open in 10 degree weather regardless of signs, pleas on booking messages, etc. Do I just throw up my hands at all of this?

Hi @Michelle2475 😊
If I were you, I would add two cameras side by side, in the front entrance to avoid an incident as these happened again and prevent party guests,
Plus, a camera sign to assume that the guest noticed it.
Furthermore, I have solid proof to claim the Extra cleaning fee thought to the resolution center.
* Take notice,

It is in the listing and is pretty obvious - a ring floodlight at the front door. The outdoor cleaning fee is really just to tell them I’m serious. I wouldn’t actually do it unless the exact same thing happens again. It has happened right there where the camera is. One guy actually looked directly into the camera.

My neighbor has this pee spot he uses right by his front gate if he has to pee during the night. (It's a slightly longer walk to the outside bathroom, there's no bathroom in the cabin) We're quite friendly, and I told him his entranceway smells like some alley where homeless guys hang out. It's gross.
Yeah, it's a guy thing. I'd probably do it if I were a guy, too 🙂 I don't find it offensive for guys to pee outside, but not right by the front door or gate. And when there's alcohol involved, I don't believe there's any conscious thought about it smelling bad.
I used to board high school girls from a neighboring island, where the school only went up to Grade 10, when I lived in Canada. One day I was walking down the side alley next to my house, happened to look over at the house and noticed this sort of flourescent green stripe running down the wooden shingles from this girl's 2nd floor bedroom window to the ground. Really weird- I asked her if she had spilled something. She looked mortified, and admitted that if she had to pee in the middle of the night, rather than go downstairs to the bathroom, she would just hang her butt out the window. She had no idea it was running down the wall. She was so embarrassed, we had a good laugh about it and she never did it again.
I was actually more concerned that she could have fallen and plunged to her death than upset about the green stripe, which eventually faded out.

I wouldn’t have cared as much if it wasn’t directly in front of the door. I don’t think the next guests would even want to stay there if it smelled like a urinal. The local raccoons and skunks were very happy with the vomit 🤢
