I’ve blocked off some dates but quite frequently dates just unblock and I get guests requesting them - why if I’ve most definitely blocked them off do they randomly just unblock? There’s no pattern to it……sometimes it’s a week or two away or can be a month or three away!
Thankfully I’ve set it so that I have to accept or decline a guest stay request but I don’t like having to keep declining.
Looking forward to the reply and how this can be stopped carrying forward.

@Rebecca It won’t let me upload an image but it had cleared 4 days again when I checked this morning - 12-15th December

Initially when I read about your problem, I thought it was just a question of your 3 month availability window opening up one day at a time as Airbnb uses a rolling calendar system. However, from your screen shot, whilst this makes sense for the dates opening up 12-15th December, it doesn't make sense that the earlier dates aren't available either, unless you have manually reblocked them?
If you look again today, the date of the 16th December may have opened up too.
To stop this occurring, you can manually block your dates by default but this does mean you have to go back in to unblock dates on your calendar regularly.
To do this go onto your listing in host mode:
==>Calendar
==>Availability Settings
==>Availability window
==>Dates unavailable by default
==>Save

This is what your December 2025 looks like for me at the moment @Lois595 , in case it helps.
1) do you perhaps have any external calendar management software connected to your account? If not,
2) is the calendar linked to any other booking website (i.e. is another calendar on VRBO, Booking.com, etc. connected to the Airbnb calendar)?
