Hello, my name is James i'm from the southern California area and i'm new to airbnb. I started my listing in October of this year. I'm looking to get some support and advice on how to get more bookings for my studio unit.

I can see why you may be eager to get booked more - there's nothing wrong with the way you set up the listing, and the space looks great and guest-ready!

You could perhaps add the distance to LAX (which is mentioned in the title) and it looks like there's also another small airport close to you, which you could mention and measure if it's relevant to your guets at all.

Apart from that, it seems it's unfortunately the usual thing that's preventing you from ranking higher in searches and getting booked - price.

I looked at your immediate area and your price is not entirely out of line, but when it's on the high side you can't compete with the many established listings in your area.

To get the algorithm to push you higher and get you started, lower the price and offer free cancellation (you can change it back later if you don't like it). Keep a close eye on the similar listings near you (zoom on the map) and make sure you're charging noticably less than the ones that already have reviews on file.
