Bookings
I have had two times where they say on the reservation 3 people and then more show up. Am I allowed to charge for the extra people even if my place sleeps 7? I have in my rules no unregistered guests. And it is posted in the rental also.

@Marcia674 If your listing has extra guest fees then yes. If it doesnt then I would say no as it would be unethical.

Hello @Marcia674, it's great to see you posting in our Community.
Building on Mike's suggestion, I'm sharing an article about how to add an extra guest fee to your Airbnb: https://www.airbnb.ca/help/article/1507
Please let us know if you'd like to try this option or if you've already used it.

I just found that option and would like to use it. What is the average price that most charge for the extra guests?

@Marcia674 Often I see $25/night for each extra guest over the number you state, whether one or two. I've just returned to host again and that is the number I've stated, after 2 people.
When I hosted before, we didn't charge the fee for infants or toddlers, I don't remember the age limit. Families tend to bring portable beds and their own linens for young children.
