Calendar Notes

I am VERY UNHAPPY that the notes feature is now gone from the airbnb calendar.  When blocking off dates,  I like to reference why they're blocked (for my own use).  Now,  that note feature is gone.  

They have also made it so you can't reference previous reservations or blocked dates and the notes associated with them.  AND, within a day or so of a reservation being completed,  the phone number for the customer disappears. I don't need to contact the customer but used their phone number in the code to unlock the doors.  Now,  without the number,  I can't remove their code from the door.  I'M INSANELY FRUSTRATED WITH THESE CHANGES. STOP FIXING WHAT ISN'T BROKE!!!!

Yes...Airbnb started removing the guest phone number from reservations last year some time I believe. We started adding the guest phone number to the reservation as a note when they book. That note stays with the reservation detail even after the guest checks out (you can still add notes to reservations with the new release, just not open nights or blocked nights). 

Many of my Host clients also keep a spreadsheet in Excel and add every reservation to it and breakdown all the taxes as well. They also include the guest name and phone number on the spreadsheet. 

The workaround to the notes problem is to turn on Professional Hosting Tools and use the multicalendar to add your notes. These notes are also still viewable after a date has passed on the multicalendar. The multicalendar is only accessible on a desktop/laptop, not the App unfortunately. You can click on a date and view the note in the right panel, or hover over the date to see the note:

Can anyone let me know how to delete notes that I put onto a series of dates on my calendar.  The notes are not relevant any longer, and I want to delete them, but cannot find a way to do it - HELP!

The only way to delete notes is to turn on Professional Hosting Tools and go to the multi-calendar to delete them. See the screenshots aboove. 

The multicalendar is only available on the desktop.

It actually does work...I do it all the time.
