I've had a one-off calendar malfunction recently and wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing?
What happened was a guest was able to make a booking where they could check out on a day that was set not to allow checking out on that day (Set to this at least a few days before the booking was made). This wasn't some sort of clash of rules because there are many areas of my calendars which have the same rule sets and for every single one, if I try to make a booking checking out on any "no checkout" day, it isn't possible to do so.
Sadly Superhost help have, erm, not been a lot of help. They acknowledged that it definitely looked like there was some kind of glitch and escalated it to the "technical team" but I don't think the technical team actually read what the problem was and just produced a "you have clashing rules, don't do that" canned response (and of course as there wasn't a clash, they didn't specify what clash had caused the problem). And of course, in a company the size of Airbnb, the end of the problem is just to state that there isn't a problem.
So wondering if anyone else has had anything similar happen recently? If it turns out to truly be a one-off error, that's something I can deal with but I'm worried that it might be a repeatable error and that would end up causing a lot of problems for me.
