Can I switch my airbnb booking to a different airbnb host?

I've booked a trip to Portugal, but have decided I'd like to stay in a different part of the country. Can I transfer the money I've paid for my trip,  to a new location and a different host, without going through the whole cancellation process? Thanks for any replies.

@Elaine1069   No you would have to cancel your current reservation and then book a new one.

What cancellation policy did you book under with the first host @Elaine1069 

you can't just transfer a booking to another listing they are independent businesses.

Hi @Elaine1069 , As @Helen3 @Karen114 advised, guests cannot transfer bookings. Have you cancelled the existing reservation and managed to book another one for your trip?
