Change over and cleaning

Hi everyone 

I am new to hosting. Can I ask for advice about change overs. On the days when you have a quest leaving and arriving the same day how do you deal with this?

Do you just state they have to arrive by a certain time and leave by a certain time so you can clean for the next guest?

Just worried guests will get annoyed having to wait or not be let in before a certain time

@Nicola2192 You should have a set check out time and a check in time and it should be enough time in between to properly clean and prepare for the next one. I have a 3 bedroom listing and my cleaning staff asked for five hours in between to prepare so that is what I give them. People will understand if you have the times set. I also let people check in early if the staff is done early but I don’t promise it.

@Nicola2192 You have check out and check in times specified on your listing. It is worth confirming these with guests prior to check in or check out especially if you have a tight turn around.

Personally I try and leave a day between booking @Nicola2192 

If you aren't going to do same day turn arounds ensure that you make sure you leave a decent time between latest check out to enable time to clean and wiggle room in case cleaning takes longer than expected
