Delayed or no response

I have noticed that more and more sitters will apply for a sit, mention that they’d like to chat, but will not follow up for days.  I’m prompt to respond , usually within a few hours or less, then crickets!  I can tell they have read the note.  Are you experiencing the same?  Any suggestions?

By sitters, are you referring to potential guests making booking enquiries?

It would be great to know what kind of enquiries they're sending and what their profiles look like (i.e. brand new, etc) in order for other hosts to perhaps share more advice. 🙂
