Hi, I recently realised then there are times when we don’t get enough booking or no bookings. Empty message section is often a heartbreaker. For me this has happened for a period of days. What can be the best practices to keep the requests full and have an ever flowing requests.

It's common for hosts to experience occasional slow periods, but there are several strategies to boost bookings and maintain a steady flow of requests for your Airbnb listing:
1. Optimize Your Listing
Professional Photos: High-quality images showcasing your space are crucial. Highlight unique features and ensure the photos are bright and inviting.
Compelling Description: Use clear, engaging language in your listing title and description. Highlight unique selling points, amenities, and proximity to attractions or transit.
Competitive Pricing: Use Airbnb’s pricing tools or research similar listings in your area to ensure your rates are competitive. Offer discounts for longer stays or early bookings.
2. Adjust Availability and Policies
Flexible Booking Options: Allow last-minute bookings or shorter stays if feasible.
Flexible Cancellation Policy: A lenient cancellation policy can make your listing more attractive.
Update Your Calendar Regularly: Keep it updated to show you’re an active host.
3. Offer Extra Value
Amenities: Provide amenities like fast Wi-Fi, complimentary snacks, or local guidebooks.
Special Offers: Run promotions or offer discounts during off-peak seasons.
4. Improve Guest Experience
Fast Response Time: Respond to inquiries quickly and warmly to build trust.
Personalized Touch: Greet guests with a personalized note or small gift.
Encourage Reviews: Ask happy guests to leave reviews; they boost credibility and rankings.
5. Marketing Outside Airbnb
Social Media: Promote your listing on Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok using appealing visuals and hashtags like #AirbnbJakarta.
Partnerships: Partner with local businesses or travel agents to attract guests.
Travel Forums: Share your listing in travel forums or groups where travelers seek recommendations.
6. Adapt to Trends
Seasonal Themes: Update your listing to reflect seasonal attractions or events (e.g., “Perfect for New Year’s Celebrations in Jakarta!”).
Target Specific Travelers: Adjust your listing to appeal to business travelers, families, or remote workers.
7. Use Airbnb Tools
Airbnb Smart Pricing: Enable it to adjust rates automatically based on demand.
Promotions: Use Airbnb’s promotion tools to target repeat or new customers.
8. Analyze and Adapt
Review Analytics: Look at your Airbnb dashboard for insights into your listing's views and performance.
Guest Feedback: Use feedback to improve your space or service.
By implementing these strategies, you can boost your listing’s visibility, attract more guests, and turn your slow periods into a thing of the past! Let me know if you'd like help with crafting a more optimized listing or marketing plan.
Please share with me also as I am also facing the same issue.
Hi @Bharat56
I find Instant Booking attracts more guests because it eliminates the need for approval, which makes the booking process faster and easier.
Guests are more likely to choose listings with Instant Book due to the ease of securing their stay.
Best regards
