Early address

I'm new to hosting but the trouble I've had twice now is guest ordering stuff to the address  before they arrive and want me or other guests to accommodate there packages with advance notice.

On booking make it clear that your place is not to be used as a mailing address for deliveries and that they should arrange for packages to be delivered while they are there to a local collection point @Brent460

No worries . I've been a homeshare host for 11 years and never had guests do this .

if packages arrive at the property that aren't yours then simply refuse to sign for them and say not known at this address.  @Brent460

@Elisa I'm really not sure how to handle it. Another big box from Walmart came today and I've been asking them not to send any. You can't turn the boxs away when your here I have other guest in the house now.  Do you have any suggestions 🤔? I'm sure i can't be there only person with this problem.

@Elisa It was good advice but I don't live on property and they don't seem to have you sign for packages any more. I don't mind them getting packages while they are there it only when I have other guest and packages arrive. Most drivers set them on porch and you can't get in the door without moving the boxs.

Why cant you refuse deliveries I don't understand. Just say there is no one of the name living at your address @Brent460 

presumably you remind guests not to arrange delicerie as I advised previously and added a note to your house rules?
