Our cabin is in the mountains which is cool even during the summer. We do not have AC’s as listed in our listing. But we have cooling fans in every room as also stated in our listing.
Our guest however decided to take it upon themselves to bring in portable Ac units and used it for their entire 4 night stay. How do we approach this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
@Nadeena0 , I agree with @Mike-And-Jane0 as there is nothing you can do about now. I did have one guest bring their own portable A/C, (this was before we installed a multi split unit in our unit). I didn’t have a problem with it at all (they did ask beforehand). I’m sure you probably prefer a great review with the guest being comfortable & happy versus one complaining that it was too warm for them…
Some guests really require cool temperatures and no wonder some travel with their own unit. Would come across also ridiculous to me, but it just so happens my wife is one of them. 🙄
@Nadeena0 this seems o bean issue so its probably a good idea to buy one and offer it at a fee and do not leave it generally in the property but ask people not to bring their own.... H
If you install an a/c unit, the inverter types/ split unit models are fantastically efficient. Just a small (10kbtu) / fan combination may more than do for most smaller bedrooms. Lock the setting at 24C/75F. 😉
