Guest double booking

Guest booked a weekend in September now wants to book the following one because he’s unsure about his dates. So i’m sure he’ll be canceling one of those. It’s blocking off two weekends on my calendar.  

Asked if he will be staying both weekends and he’s not answering. I think it’s definitely someone who doesn’t care that it’s not a good thing for host. When  I declined the second one I said let’s go ahead and wait you know your dates and then we can reserve it but he got a little nasty and said that there’s no reason he can’t make 2 reservations. Not sure how to handle it. I went ahead and accepted it I wish I hadn’t. Can I cancel it with more explanation?

If the guest wants to stay another weekend then the one bookd, you could consider shifting the reservation ("change" option on the reservation)

I wouldn't advise going down that cancel route as you'll get fined by Airbnb, the dates cancelled will be blocked permenatly on your calendar anyway and may put your SH status in jeopardy!
