I love it when guests send photos of the space from their perspective. But this posted online a few days ago from a very lovely (and seemingly happy) guest who stayed with us. Not sure its sending the message we are trying to market...Perhaps we can appeal to some wandering serial killers?

@Laura2592 Halloween Special at the haunted cottage.

@Anonymous  Its Halloween at Christmas! Make sure your life insurance is paid up before booking with us. Extra guests? There won't be by the time you leave....

@Laura2592 My mind just created a creepy detailed AirBnb listing...

...and some of your “nightmare” guests sent booking requests!  😉

It does give it a "Blair Witch Project" vibe. You should see if they took selfies up-lit by flashlights.

@Thomas18 right?? Maybe I should charge extra and claim it was one of the shooting locations. I had a guest post this picture she took today. Much more in keeping with what we usually get.Screenshot_20211214-120604_Instagram.jpg

@Laura2592 we once had a guest who tagged us daily during his stay, on selfies taken in our bathroom mirror, flexing shirtless.

@Lisa723 LOL. I love it! Though I would have been thoroughly confused.

@Laura2592 it seemed that it was his habit to do this every day wherever he was. He did look pretty good without his shirt but after a polite interval I removed our tags.

@Lisa723  I had a much younger friend who showed us photos of his trip through Europe a few years earlier. As he narrated the photos to us, it was

"Here I am, drunk in a hotel room in Paris".

"Here I am, drunk in a hotel room in Prague.

"Here I am, drunk at the Acropolis".

@Laura2592  Definitely a Shining/Blair Witch/Amityville vibe going on in that photo.  Too funny.

Laura2592  Your guests picture of your cottage made my day.  I am still laughing!

My work took me to Parchman's prison in Mississippi.  The closest place to stay was "The Shack Up Inn".  Definitely no Airbnb's in the area.  My secretary reserved a "shack" which turned out to be former slave quarters on a plantation.  I drove there to check in, and the night time picture your guests sent you looks a lot like my shack.  I couldn't stay at this location due to horrific history of the place, but I have never forgotten what the place looked like.  The day time picture of your cottage indicates you have a lovely cottage.  Thank you for the laughs.

@Patricia1375 seriously! It does look like a place someone gets murdered in that picture! I promise it doesn't look like that in real life even at night! It's actually pretty cozy looking...and not crooked. Maybe she needs a new camera poor thing.  Id hate to have her taking shots of me!Screenshot_20211214-222931_Gallery.jpg

@Laura2592  It would be funny if she was one of those influencers who offered to showcase your place in exchange for a free stay.
