Guest refused to crate sick Elderly dog& is retaliating with false claims
I have a guest currently for 4 more days who would not cancel her reservation and airbnb disabled my attempt on cancel due to pending case I started and have not been helped with. Messages clearly indicate she would crate her dog which I restated in my message back before accepting the booking. She is a med student who clearly feels entitled to misuse my property and not adhere to our agreement and it smells like the dog has had accidents. I let the dog out while she was at work due to its crying and movements made it clear it was not crated. I sent a photo of her dog poop and dog outside minutes later. After addressing this issue and a few others of lesser importance she began making multiple false statements of me micromanaging her, hazing and harassing her when I sent photos that immediately addressed false statements. Lack of cabinet storage, lack of fridge storage and no place to hang a towels. The photos show ample space in both cabinets and fridge where she is utilized less than 30% of space given and a dedicated guest towel hook on bathroom wall. The guest was rude enough to check in 130am when stated to be hours earlier and messaged me at 230am for a WiFi password. Her response was i could have turned off my phone after leaving it on to ensure she got in ok. All red flags but she is over the top claiming saftey issues and contacting my local police department all in what feels like at attempt to not take responsibility for her uncrated anaimal or attempt a sue me for wanting to end her reservation. She informed me she would not be leaving if reservation is cancelled and would be checking out in the evening after her reservation is legitimately over. She also had the audacity to film me on my private property while I was having a call with airbnb customer service. I informed her she does not have consent to film me, my property or my private phone conversation. While she showed agression stating she will sue me. This person is clearly a liar and our messages indicate she is not following the agreement to protect my home form dog urine or feces in her 27 day stay. This is an obvious attempt to retaliate for my valid complaints and concerns.
please help with any suggestions on how to proceed
