I’ve just checked in and unfortunately I’ve noticed several issues with the accommodation that I would like to report immediately.
Firstly, the room does not appear to have been properly cleaned before my arrival. There are visible stains and hairs on the bedding, hairs and dirt on the furniture and surfaces, as well as rubbish/items left behind. I have taken photos documenting the condition upon arrival.
Secondly, regarding the bedroom door, I was informed beforehand that there was no lock. However, I understood this to mean that I would not be able to lock the room with a key when leaving. Upon arrival, I realised that the door cannot be secured from the inside either and can be opened from outside while I am in the room. As this is shared accommodation, this is a significant privacy and security concern for me, making me not being able to sleep at night.
kitchen does not work, toilette is old
Could you please tell me what are my options? Booking is for a whole month
Hi @Σοφία8 You have posted on the Airbnb community forum, which is just a discussion place. You need to contact Airbnb customer support for immediate help with your booking. I'm sorry but I don't know the number for you to call, but you should find it on your booking details. Have you tried contacting your host?
You need to document the issues (photos etc..) and contact the host first.
There is a procedure for it:
If you have a problem or issue during your reservation:
https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/248
If reservation is for 1 month, then it is "long term stay", which has specific rules/terms
If issues can not be resolved, ask Airbnb for relocation.
Hi @Σοφία8,
I'm sorry to hear there are some issues with your current booking! Have you contacted your host, as others have suggested? How is that discussion going?
Thanks,
Emilie
