When a towel goes missing, many hosts will just replace the towel and will not claim the money back from the guest. It's a small item, but can potentially cause a lot of friction if you try to claim through the resolution center.
You can consider marking the guest down in the review, but then you have to be very sure that this specific guest removed a towel and that you will not find it later. If you do decide to mention something negative in the review, be sure to keep the tone professional and polite.
If you feel there's a risk that future guests may remove towels, try to find a brand that's affordable and stable in supply (so it's easy to buy the same matching towel again when necessary). You may, however, find that this is not something that happens often!
