How to set Airbnb minimum stay rules with my intended settings?

Hi everyone 😊

I wanted to ask if there’s a way to set Airbnb minimum stay rules a bit more intelligently.

What I would love to do is:

- Allow 1-night stays during weekdays

- But require a minimum of 2 nights if the booking includes Thursday or Friday nights

The problem is that with the current system, if I set a 2-night minimum on Thursdays and Fridays, it also blocks bookings like Wednesday–Thursday, which I actually do want to allow.

I host a small vacation unit, and single-night Thursday or Friday bookings can block full weekend reservations.

Does anyone know a good workaround for this?

Or is there a better way to manage it with rule sets?

Would love to hear how other hosts handle this 😊

It is not programmable, what you want is a "if x then y" solution.

And why is wednessday blocked, can be 1 night (or more) booking.

Maye use rules and combine with limiting check-in/check-out days.

This is not the case @Gil3033

If you set Wednesday to one night and Thursday to 2 nights, a guest can book any length of stay starting Wednesday, and a minimum of 2 nights (or more) starting Thursday.

By far the easiest way to do what you require, is to go to the plain minimum stay setting in the calendar. Click it and click through to Customise by Check-in day. Set all your weekdays to 1 and Thursday, Friday and Saturday to 2 (I think that's the way you want it).

Then look at your listing in guest view and test it by selecting different dates.
