Hello everyone,
You may have noticed that there is an option to mark responses as a Top Answer.
We want to explain the purpose of “Top Answer”, why it is useful, and how to craft a fabulous response to help your fellow hosts.
What are Top Answers and why are they useful?
A Top Answer is the most helpful response on a thread. They can be marked by the original poster or by one of the Community Managers. When a response is marked as a Top Answer, the response gets highlighted and pinned to the top so it’s more visible to other hosts.
Tips for writing a great Top Answer
Your responses can make a big difference by offering insights, resources, and supportive guidance to other hosts. Here are some essential tips to keep in mind as you craft your answers, ensuring they’re as impactful and approachable as possible:
And of course let’s keep in mind that we're here because we share a passion for hosting and creating amazing experiences. So, let's keep the positive vibes going, be kind to one another, and enjoy this tight-knit community of fellow hosts.
Important note: unless coming from an Online Community Manager or other Airbnb staff members, most answers, comments and opinions in this forum come from our community of hosts and are for information purposes only.

@Quincy to use a British phrase - that is a load of tosh. The best answer is the one with the most ticks, the one people (real people who are providing the rooms) like the most.
Please stop managing the community posts without fixing the back of house issues which are driving people mad.
Please ask your teams "do we need people to rent rooms via our platform to have a job?". I am looking at removing my (small and pathetic) listings from AirBnb
and I need a while to calm down.
But your Top Answer thing is rubbish.

Hi @Charles224,
I wanted to clarify that the Community Center is a space where hosts can help and inspire each other -hence the top answer feature- and the community team is focused on ensuring it remains a safe, useful and constructive space. 🙂
I’m sorry to hear you’re thinking of removing your listings from the platform, and if you’d like other hosts’ advice on your situation or to share some feedback on the platform, I invite you to start a new conversation or use Airbnb's official feedback form to share suggestions directly with them as well.
Thanks,
Emilie
