Only send them messages on the platform so if someone else comes they won't know their password of Lockbox ✌️

I also find it difficult to know with certainty whether the person who booked is actually the person who has checked in.

In my case, I usually confirm with the guest directly, or sometimes with my caretaker. If the guest has arranged lunch or dinner through someone else, such as a home chef or cloud kitchen, I may also confirm with that person when the guest has arrived.

Of course, I always try to keep communication through Airbnb and follow the platform's guidelines. But in a practical hosting situation, sometimes a simple confirmation from the guest or caretaker is the easiest way to know that the check-in has actually happened.

I think good communication and a little coordination between the host, guest and caretaker can make things much easier. 👍

We don't need to worry about who will come for the following reasons: we will get the money. The platform covers us and insures us. It has the data of the real ones that closed,  So they will take legal action against any damage that occurs through the air cover.The most important thing I've understood, even as a beginner, is that you should only communicate through a platform.
