No refund

I booked unit in air bnb manila, unfortunately it was cancelled by air bnb due to host does not met thier proper standard,.and they did not refund my security deposit and early check in payment  agreement  .

Sorry to hear, but it sounds like it's probably for the best if the host was below standard.

How did you pay these 2 extra charges?

Airbnb doesn't collect security deposits, so if it's money that Airbnb didn't receive, they can't refund it. The same goes for the early check-in fee - unless it was paid through Airbnb, you'll have to get it back from the host.

For Airbnb bookings, it's usually good to refuse to pay anything extra outside of the Airbnb platform (it's against Airbnb policy). Ask the host to send an Airbnb money request if you agree to any additional charges.

Our conversation was all done in air bnb chat room so I was thinking that its ok ,it was even written in the host policy that we need to pay the security deposit which is after they will refund after check out after checking the unit .
