Do we have to serve the paper towels for customers?

I mean kitchen rolls, I did provide 3 of them too but what should I do if they spend a lot and asking for extra. Do you know how many we should give to them ? Thank you!

I provide 2 rolls of paper towels per one week stay—one for bathroom and one for kitchen.

I have a bit of an issue with paper/kitchen towels. While they are useful for accidental spillages and a few other specific jobs, I really don't see why guests should be getting through two, three or more rolls in a week. I suppose it depends on the size of the group, but that just seems wasteful to me from an environmental perspective.

I honestly don't know why people just wipe their hands with paper towels when there is a sink and soap right by them. Ick. Also, I like to wipe down my counters properly and there are always cloths and disinfectant nearby. A paper towel doesn't clean, it just absorbs some liquid.

People seem very dependent on disposable products though. It's not just those. I've seen several quite severe cases of wastage amongst guests.

@Thi5270  AIrbnb doesn't consider paper towels to be an "essential" like toilet paper, but they're useful for so many purposes that it's a good idea to supply a roll or two at the beginning of the stay. Also, a good stash of washable tea towels, dish rags, and cleaning products.

It's a bit odd for guests to be asking hosts to restock kitchen items during the stay. It's perfectly fine to just direct guests to the nearest grocery store instead.
