Pets on furniture

Has any host dealt with guest brining pets which I do allow.  But the dogs are all over the couches.  What to do with cleaning the furniture? Does anyone have suggestions that work?

@Bertha89  Responsible pet owners will try to have their pets stay off the furnishings, but since many pet owners treat their animals as their "fur babies" and let them on furnishings in their own homes, pets in a strange accommodation will run true to form and sleep, lie on and use your property as if they were home.

I provide Dog Sheets - old sheets (labeled Dog Sheets) that can no longer be used on the guest beds but are large enough to be draped over my furnishings so that pets can act as if they were at home.  Yes, the property can look less inviting, but the guest brought the pet, and they should either keep that pet off the furnishings or use the sheets.

There are products that can be used to clean dog hair off fabrics and sanitize the furnishings.  Look at your property and determine what might be best removed if you are going to allow pets.  I do not have rugs, couches are wipeable leather, and linens are double washed and gone over with a lint roller for residual pet hair.  I also run an ozone machine between guests to remove the pet odor and any cooking smells.

Thank you, I will definitely start with some of those ideas.  They will help with the clean up after visits.
